Welcome to the starting place for all things "library" at Huband!
If you are looking for more library info, check out the "learning commons" idea at http://heartofthelibrary.edublogs.org
The teacher-librarian (Mrs. Bystrom) and library clerk (Ms. Dillman) have been working very hard to get new books out into circulation. Some of these new books are from our regular budget and some are from the Adopt-a-School program. At this point there are about 500 new books out now in circulation or being processed so they can be out for students to enjoy!
Students can take out books during their regular library exchange time with their class or individually when their teacher allows them to go and do that. Students are welcome to work in the library and everyone is here to support students to use the library as much as possible. There is ample evidence to show that reading enhances learning!
We are planning another Scholastic book fair for March 2020 when we have our 2nd parent teacher student day. More info will be coming out after winter break.
